Organized under the high patronage of the President of the National Assembly, Mrs. Yaël Braun-Pivet, at the initiative of Mrs. Astrid Panosyan-Bouvet, deputy of Paris, the association HamAva, and the International League Against Racism and Anti-Semitism (Licra), this day of mobilization pays tribute to the women and men currently fighting for their freedoms in Iran.
Since the death of Mahsa-Jina Amini on September 16, 2022, Iranian society has been set ablaze with the cry of “Women, Life, Freedom!”, calling for the establishment of a modern, democratic, and secular political system that respects human dignity, equality of rights, and freedom of expression. The bloody repression led by the Islamic Republic must be met with voices of revolt, hope, freedom, and democracy. You are kindly invited to attend this day, which will feature the testimonies of Iranians from within the country and the diaspora, as well as the analyses of experts during two roundtable discussions.
