HamAva is committed to expanding national solidarity around universal values and the protection of Iran’s territorial integrity by establishing a tolerant, inclusive, and non-violent discourse. Based on this idea, the political society inside Iran can form an alternative equal to the system of Velayat-e Faqih, enabling a non-violent transition from the current constitution to a new constitution based on democracy, the separation of religion and state, sexual equality, equal citizenship, and individual, social, and political freedoms through a free, fair, and transparent election.
Achieving national sovereignty— meaning “government of the people, by the people, and for the people” —is possible through the participation of women, who make up half of Iran’s population, and the participation of all Iranian citizens, regardless of sex, ethnicity, origin, political or ideological belief, united around the values of human rights.
