About Us

HamAva

HamAva (in Persian: same voice) is a current of thought.
HamAva is not affiliated with any political party or organization.
All citizens of Iran — regardless of origin, ethnic background, sex, political or religious belief  participate in a shared harmony: that of HamAva.

HamAva believes that spreading the discourse of a national coalition must break free from all personality cults and ideological domination.
A national coalition, founded on universal values and respect for Iran’s territorial integrity, can embrace the full diversity of the country, the true Iranian rainbow.

On this foundation, a national solidarity movement can emerge within Iran itself, transpartisan, non-dogmatic, and free from egocentrism and centralizing ideologies  to stand in opposition to the regime of Velayat-e Faqih (absolute power of the Supreme Leader).

The goal is to achieve a peaceful transition from the current constitution to a new one based on:

  • democracy

  • separation of religion and state

  • sexual equality

  • equal rights for all citizens

  • individual, social, and political freedoms

while preserving the territorial integrity of Iran, through free, fair, and transparent elections.

The establishment of national sovereignty — a government of the people, by the people, and for the people — can only be achieved with the participation of all Iranian citizens, regardless of sex, origin, ethnicity, or political and ideological belief, united around shared values such as:

  • democracy

  • secularism

  • and human rights.

HamAva Manifesto

For forty-one years, the motherland has endured its darkest days, a time of deadly repression under an absolute theocracy.
Thousands upon thousands of people, city by city, neighborhood by neighborhood, home by home, have stood firm, chanted, fought, and given their lives for the freedom and dignity of Iran.
This struggle is not over.

Our homeland is in danger.

We stand in solidarity with the signatories of the Statement of the 14, with political and ideological prisoners, and with lawyers committed to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the territorial integrity of Iran.
Together, we declare our unity for a nonviolent transition away from the religious rule of the Islamic Republic and toward a democratic and secular national sovereignty.

We call for:

  • The resignation of Ali Khamenei

  • The dissolution of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic

  • The creation of the necessary conditions for holding a referendum to determine the future political system of the country, and the organization of free and fair elections during a transitional period  supervised by impartial bodies such as the United Nations  for the formation of a Constitutional Assembly

  • The drafting of a new national constitution by the Constitutional Assembly, based on the following principles:

    • The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (adopted December 10, 1948) and all its related conventions and covenants

    • Separation of religion and state

    • Equal civil rights for all the people of Iran, regardless of ethnicity, background, or belief, before the law

    • Full sexual equality between women and men in all spheres

    • Freedom of thought and expression, and freedom of the press and media

    • Freedom to form political parties, independent labor unions, and professional associations

    • Establishment of a free-market economy with social justice

    • Adoption of a peaceful foreign policy and constructive diplomatic relations, with adherence to international law and norms to preserve peace, security, and stability in the region and the world — and commitment to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)

Our homeland is in danger.
We call on all branches of Iran’s armed forces to join the people  to stand by the people, to protect the people, to safeguard Iran’s territorial borders and national assets.

We are ready to love, so that once again this land may become a realm of love and reason.
This is our ultimate goal.

Let us stand together — for Iran.

Long live Iran.
