Ravi is a podcast series by HamAva, dedicated to sexual equality in Iran.
“Ravi” is a series of podcasts that narrate and examine the violence inflicted on every Iranian girl and woman. By raising awareness and fostering collective understanding, it seeks to help Iranian society bring about a deep transformation, across cultural, social, and political dimensions.
In this episode, political analysts Nazila Golestan and Sahar Nasseri, journalist Maziar Mokfi, and psychotherapist Saba Alaleh join the HamAva Ravi podcast to discuss the various forms of violence against women in Iran, their causes, and their consequences, within both private and public spaces.
Change begins with me, and together as us, we can build a better world.
You can listen to Ravi on podcast platforms such as Castbox, Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Podcasts, and on HamAva’s YouTube channel.

To protect individual rights, all testimonies from survivors shared in “Ravi” are respectfully retold. The HamAva podcast series is committed to fostering national dialogue around universal values: democracy, secular governance, human rights, and sexual equality. Within this framework, we believe we can move, through collective wisdom, toward a free and dignified Iran for all Iranians, regardless of belief, opinion, sexuality, ethnicity, or background.
